Purple in color and clear in the glass. On day 1, aromas of blackberry, blood, meat, olive, crushed gravel, and violets on the nose. Tastes of blackberry and violets on the palate. Medium(+) body, medium(+) acidity, and medium(+) tannins.
I didn't get to the rest of the bottle until day 3. Aromas of blackberry, plum, black licorice, smoke, and candied violets. Tastes of blackberry, black licorice, and candied violets on the palate.
Beautiful wine! This is going to be special in 2-3 years.
