still drinking well, I cellar all my wines. Did not chill below 55F...popped and poured. Had with crab and shrimp. Good pairing but I agree with the comments that the nuance of the wine is its strong point and that disappeared with the food. Points off for that. Carmelized and smooth texture, dry with backbone of complex light fruit that makes it stand out from ordinary table wine Chards. Note that this is a good choice to go with apps and cheese, has that carmelized taste and texture reminiscent of a white port.

Popped and Poured - this wine was much better without food. Very pretty honor/straw color in the glass. Medium weight with medium acidity. Hints of tropicals and honeydew.

Light yellow color and a light nose of fruit. The taste is a distinctive carneros -- a bit of fruit with medium acidity, medium finish and a bit of stone and honey.
