Brought to CT SEA tasting to pair with dinner. Still showed young, and was surprisingly jammy and floral given the proportion of cab. Was enjoyable but did not knock my socks off.

Dinner for Neil and Sue. Paired with an 01 Chaleur which was a very good wine with more brooding weight, but this Soos was brighter and impressively spicier (think: Musar-ish)--a wine at it's true optimum drinking moment, and it won my heart.

Deep red color with a nose of red fruits and smoke. Still holding up well. Cherry and plum flavors mixed with some smokiness. This wine is thicker than I remembered, but well balanced with a smooth finish.

A little more muted than my previous bottle, but still holding up nicely. Dark red color. Nice blend with cherry, plums and smoke flavors. The wine is well balanced and finishes smoothly. Drink now.

This wine has evolved quite a bit. maybe heading on the down side(not sure) but was quite enjoyable over thanksgiving. The fruit mellowed nicely and developed a leather and tobacco element with a touch of raison that was intergrated nicely with the fruit. Silky and pure in the mouth with and nice finish although some what short. 2 bottles left and will be interested to see in a year or two what happens here.
