  • Super bright, tart and refreshing. The color in the glass is mesmerizing. Flaming magenta. On the nose lots of fresh cranberry, blueberry, crushed orange, and a kiss of baking spice. The acidity absolutely builds and crescendos on the palate - making it an overall tart wine. It's almost a little much but then it's just so mouth-watering that you keep wanting to go back for more. I would want to pair this with something that has a little tartness to it and needs a wine to overthrow. Something like a carbonara or a pesto based dish or even a hollandaise sauce.

  • Delicious wine. Leather and tobacco dominate. Rasin, vanilla, plum?, dark cherry. Maybe even some cedar (particularly on the nose) or oak. (I realize cedar is an odd description, but that’s what I get). Really complex and delicious.

  • Oh my. What a delicious Malbec. Raisin, vanilla, cedar, some raspberry. Just a lot going on here. Could use another year or two of sitting, but this is great and getting better.
