Mine. Peachy nose, dry on the palate, all stone fruits and clay, big bodied. Perfect for a blind tasting since nobody's ever heard of verdil and there are only like four acres of it in the whole world (all in Spain). Very good.

A strong main course kind of white wine from an ancient, nearly extinct grape called verdil and produced by only three wineries on the planet, all near Valencia. Big perfumed nose that follows through to the palate with flavors of parmesan, preserved lemon, clams, saffron and hay. Not a refreshing, palate-cleanser style wine but something to serve with intense flavors like paella or smoked seafood stews. We tried with various cold items from the fridge, and aged gouda was the standout pairing.

A very rare grape. I like it even better now than I did six months ago. Served very cold, which flattered it, big bodied and dry, layered, impressive.
