On open, nose of unripened green apple, lemongrass, stale beer. Somewhat off putting. Aired out for 60 min.
After a decant, viscous, but crisp, heavy feeling in the glass but easy flowing across the palate. Yellow with a light green tinge. Much better with air—gardenias/white flowers, buttery, pineapple, green apple, green grass.

Disclosure: I don't love CA Chards , a matter of personal preference. But drinking this bottle with Russell Bevan was so special. Fell in love with it on first whif- white flowers (gardenias)strong minerality. On the pallate, pineapple, pink grapefruit, lychee, pink Himalayan salt, taffy, a perfect score!
