Heater week; 3/26/2023-4/3/2023 (Chicago, IL): Served single blind. I strongly preferred this to the Arvelets, which was a little too woodsy and oaky for current enjoyment. This was lighter and lifted, and felt closer to my conception of the BG house style. Again a mix of red and black fruit, but more red than black. Small red berries here, with a somewhat perfumed complexion. Very, very nice.

Wow!! What a wine. Amazing texture, purity refinement! Deep, rich, full on, dark and broody but pure silk. Feels like a warm vintage but still grippy enough to fall for it. Can Fixin really be this good? Wow!
