A rarity, a quality unwooded pinotage. Deep red garnet in colour, with a beautiful nose: cherries, red fruit and caramel tarte tatin. There’s sweet tobacco alongside the berries on the palate. Perfect balance between fruit and gentle tannins — I suspect it’s at its absolute peak right now, so enjoy this splendid wine while you can.
