Like several other posters here, I served this blind next to the 2019 CHEV RRV. I echo all their points: A bit lighter in the glass and a little more heat and wood, although I didn't notice the charring much. Even though I did end up preferring the RRV, this is nonetheless a really good wine and was I was really impressed that it from Oregon. Kind of ratcheted up my general impression of the potential of Oregon wines as a whole.

Blind. Served alongside the other 2019 Chev California RRV Pinot Noir from Michael. This is lighter in color and concentration. The heat is poking through which settles down after a bit but it's noticeable. Would not have put this on Oregon. Big charred wood note
There was some discussion as to whether this might be Grenache based on the color and the influence of cherry but I kept coming back to Pinot Noir. Certainly would not have surprised me if it was ganache.

Served blind. The oak here is obtrusive for my taste, reflected with graham cracker and clove on the aromatic, along with heat. Raspberry, strawberry, rose petal but then a signature of some alcohol heat. I tend to like Michael's wines but I just didn't care for this wine as the oak and ripeness seemed to overpower the wine.

Decant 30 min; raspberries, blackberry, sweet zesty mid palate, rich pinote berries in savory sauce. Charming. excellent with grilled salmon, sauted brussel sprouts.

Easy drinking silky style. Smooth with mild tannins and nuanced fruit. Wine is not typical for Oregon.
