  • Prior bottle was a bit over 8 months ago and this wine continues to show quite well. Bright orange, white apple, white melon as well as spice and floral notes on the nose. Medium bodied with white apple upfront showing both rounded, open notes as well as more tart qualities. Moves to white peach through the middle along with some hints of yellow peach and some softer tropical qualities on the back. White melon, orange and other citrus notes behind. Acidity remains vibrant and helps balance the fruit and contributes length to the mineral-driven finish. Overall, the nose and fruit notes were very comparable to my prior bottle with maybe some small positive steps forward in terms of balance. Great QPR and the acidity still such a strength of the wine, should be able to hold this level for a number of additional years.

  • Color: Light straw. Nose: Pear. Palate: Very dry, white peach, blood orange, intense mineral finish. Crisp acidity lingers on the finish more than 60 seconds. Very good QPR at $20—a wine of real character.

  • Very pale color, nearly translucent; peach nose.
Mango and other tropical fruits up front; nice mineral mid-palate. Bone dry. Quite enjoyable.

  • Coravin by the glass. Peach, yellow plum, lemon peel and mineral on the nose and palate. Long, crisp dry finish. Well very balanced. Good QPR. Served with chicken, broccoli and monterey jack soup.

  • Interesting to taste this with a skosh of age (It's been over a year since I last popped one). Weightier, with notes of ripe peach and Honeycrisp apple, flanked by gobs of minerality. Less floral, and the acidity seems dialed down a notch too, but still a delicious Riesling (especially at $20).
