  Coravined, then 90 min in glass before tasting. Deep dark rich magenta color. Blackberry shortcake and subtle mint macaron. Smooth, dry palate. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
  
  This vineyard was formerly Italics (Coombsville). Aged 22 months in 100% new French oak. Youthful, but very nice.

  Wow, this is such a beauty. Was ready for a slight let down, despite really loving previous vintages, but nooooo. Mr. Fayard (and mother nature) really came through! This has such great precision and power, length and finesse. A wine I will dream about. Congrats to the holders of the other 7 bottles as of this date LOL. A very special treat. 99+ Cheers!
  
  12/16 Coravin pour from 2nd bottle. A little bottle shock here off the initial pour. Hold others 3-6 months + give er some time...
