  Kleur: Fluwelig, helder lichtrood. Aroma / bouquet: Het aroma van deze Pinot Noir laat geen enkele twijfel bestaan over het druivenras. Het meest dominante kenmerk van dit aroma bestaat uit bosaardbeitjes en zoetige aardbeiencompote. Daarnaast ook meer aardse tonen, zoals champignons en natte bosgrond. Smaak / Afdronk: Frisse start, verfijnde zuurgraad. Mondvullend maar boterzacht, mooi gerijpte tannines. Prachtig in balans, ook door het relatief beperkte (13,5%) alcoholgehalte. Serieuze lengte. Algemeen / potentieel: Er is in Nederland een serieus eenkennig wijngenootschap met de naam WIREKUF. Wirekuf staat voor Wijn Is Rood En Komt Uit Frankrijk. Zo ver wil ik niet gaan. Ik kan genieten van mousserend, wit, rood, rosé en zoet uit diverse landen. Met Pinot Noir ben ik kritisch en eenkennig. Voor mij komt goede Pinot Noir uit Frankrijk, als Spätburgunder uit Duitsland of Oostenrijk. Zeker Pinot Noir uit de nieuwe wereld kan me maar zelden bekoren. Maar deze verfijnde Zuid-Afrikaanse Pinot Noir is buitengewoon! 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Smaak / Afdronk: 15 + Algemeen / potentieel: 8 = 89/100
  
  Colour: Velvety, bright light red. Aroma / bouquet: The aroma of this Pinot Noir leaves no doubt about the grape variety. The most dominant feature of this aroma consists of wild strawberries and sweet strawberry compote. In addition, more earthy tones, such as mushrooms and wet forest floor. Taste / Aftertaste: Fresh start, refined acidity. Mouth-filling but buttery soft, nicely matured tannins. Beautifully balanced, also due to the relatively limited (13.5%) alcohol content. Serious length. General / potential: There is a seriously ignorant society in the Netherlands called WIREKUF. Wirekuf (translated: WIRACFF) stands for Wine Is Red And Comes From France. I don't want to go that far. I can enjoy sparkling, white, red, rosé and sweet from various countries. With Pinot Noir I am critical and ignorant too. For me, good Pinot Noir comes from France and, as Spätburgunder, from cooler countries as Germany or Austria. Certainly Pinot Noir from the new world can seldom appeal to me. But this refined South African Pinot Noir is extraordinary! 50 + Colour: 5 + Aroma / Bouquet: 11 + Taste / Aftertaste: 15 + General / Potential: 8 = 89/100
