Pnp. Improved quite a lot with air. Impressive acidity. Developed more fruit as it opened. Long finsh. Not overly complex by riesling standards, but very good. Wish I had more. Really good wine.

Wow! Acidic, peaches, pear, honey suckles and subtle spices. Rich, complex and intense. Medium plus finish with tons of fruit. Should age for 15 plus years. German Rieslings is the best QPR wines on the planet. Try and find this quality for under $40 in Bordeaux and Burgundy forget about it. Looks like in 2011 I liked the wine but this is so much better now. Really should not touch these types of wines for a decade.

refreshing brightness, has a spiced peach that remains light and elegant, very moreish, very well balanced, in a great place at the moment, drinks light for a spätlese, which I really really like, excellent

Strogeel. Goede concentratie, abrikoos, perzik, honing, veel mineraliteit en voldoende frisse zuren. Aan de zoete kant van het Spätlese-spectrum, zelfs wat Botrytis-tonen. Lang aanhoudend.

(Von Beulwitz Kaseler Nieschen Spatlese Alte Reben Auction Bottling) Ethereal yet very rich in that '06 style with graceful acidity and so much pit and stone fruits. There was a significant amount of botrytis but it was clean and ripe. Nose also had complex chamomile and lavender scents. Really compelling nose and palate. Not much of this around but I have one more bottle I'll hold onto for a while.

Mineral driven nose. Delicious palate with lime and cream. Luscious feel and fine balance of sweetness and acidity. Really impressive tonight.
