(J.J. Prum Wehlener Sonnenhur Auslese) Too rich for my blood with not enough acidity. Apple, slate, tremendous ripeness and tons of botrytis. Needs either 30 years as they say over in Germany or will fade very quickly.

Frey's Cat Ranch (Somewhere in the Northern Burbs, MN): Medium gold color. Drank a small glass over 45 minutes. Well, this was slurpilicious. Mango, pineapple. fusil, white flowers, apple, orange, apricot, reipe and fleshy, a delicious bottle of tasty fruit cocktail with slate minerality. The '03 Prums have been very good. 93+ to 94pts.

Drank after 20 years in the cellar. Turned a golden color. The acidity has melted away and the sweetness has stayed. A unique experience tasting an aged Auslese.

Glass: Zalto Universal
Popped and poured, drunk over three days. Clear, medium golden color. Clean, medium+ intense, developing nose. Clean fruit basket, some honey, spices, lots of cotton candy. Pure harmony!
Sweet, medium acidity, only 8% abv. Beautiful flavors of ripe apricot, cotton candy, spices, honey. Nice mineral core. Good balance, very round and juicy. Long, fruity and spicy finish. This is easy drinking at its best. Certainly not the most expressive version, but for this hot vintage beautiful with at least another decade of potential. 92
