Flush in the mid but need another rinse from teh 2020 Trifolium with smoke taint. Pretty dense and tastes really young still. Loads of structure, both in terms of acidity and tannins. Really tightly wound up on the palate.

Balance and finesse. Not particularly tannic despite the young age, though still a touch of mid-to-back palate astringency, imagine that’s a result of a cold-pressed whole cluster process? A touch of oak, I would have thought more than 12% new oak. With the cherry showing in full form (thought not overtly so), reminiscent of the Big Table Farm Sunnyside 2017. Finishing with strawberry creme savers (circa 2005) — which I hear are back — so, obviously, quality memories of my grandfather, who was likely the #1 buyer. Hint of cola as well, though not a Dr Peppery as Vosne-Romanee. @ Francie, suggested by Chris

Amazing. Good fruit and excellent energy, but then once it opened up it also brought a nice Burgundian nose to the table. Wow

Strawberry, sophisticated, feminine, sleek. Earth and soil present, but early stages. Beautiful nonetheless.
