Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Colour: interestingly still nice garnet with brick at the edge
Nose: quite prominent old oaky smell with whiff of alcohol. After 30-45mins, the alcohol /minty lessen a bit with some soil earthiness
Palate: slight old sour (only slight) plum with hardly any mint. Very fortunate to have tried 27 years old and it's still drinkable and smooth. Although there is that old oak a little unpleasant bit overall nice.
