On open this was primary and rich. Purple fruits, florals, spice, sous bois and a kiss of oak sweetness - 94-95 on the nose. On the palate it was primary with dark purple fruits and some high toned spice. With 1-2 hours - and no decant - this wine got progressively oaky. One to lay down.

On initial pour, it was incredibly primary with soft aromas of redcurrants, bramble, and plum. It also had a slight gameyness to it.
Medium plus acidity and medium body. Tannins were velvety with only a little chewyness. The wine seemed a little taut and closed up.
After some time decanting, there were some more pronounced oaky aromas but nothing overpowering. I didn't get much forest floor, but it is still a baby so wasn't expecting much.
All in all, this was a good wine with great to come. Will try again in a few years.

The aromatics, palate sensation, and sense of energy in this wine are incredible. Red fruits, in particular cherries, framed by beautiful acidity and a mineral note. The oak is showing through just a little, though the attractive fruit suppresses it enough that the wine is enjoyable today. Clearly a firm young wine in need of time to expand, but there is nothing harsh, and I will try a bottle once in a while for the wine's primary fruit while I wait for it to develop into a beauty.

Rich and layered. If it had slightly more acidity would be higher. 93-94

PnP. Rather primary at the moment but enjoyable. Should do well with a few years to deepen.
