Dinner meetup with paired wines. White flight tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of light toast oak, ripe citrus lemon. Youthful. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13.3%), medum body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of melded oak, sweet citrus lemon, ripe peach stone fruits. Long finish with some nice textural feels (?lees) that add a point of interest. Very good quality. Simple direct but with good depth of fruit. My guess: Ripe vintage Chardonnay and has something Chablisienne to it although no obvious minerality.
