  • Bottle #2:
On nose and palate: all notes intact from bottle#1 , a few months back:nice balance of sea salt, citrus , apple and minerality....notes of light smoke as well....good value for seafood wine at $22.00 a bottle in Vancouver.

  • After seeing the good reviews of the 2018 and 2019 vintages , I was intrigued to try something, new to me.
On nose:faint mineral, and apple skin.
On palate: the above flavours , amplified , as well as light smoke , lemon peel , slate , and a hint of tangerine peel, as it warms up, light acidity on a medium body...and a clean , salty finish......the wine has elements of both French Vouvray( Chenin Blanc)....as well as Sicilian Carricante ( although lighter and less complex)...ideal shellfish and oyster wine.
