Unchanged from my notes of last March: “An incredibly pale wine that lulls the eyes into a false sense of understatement. Somewhere within the pale, moonlight silver of this Viognier is a huge amount of flavor. An unmistakable toastiness, but not at all over done; loads of peach, apricot and lemon zest fill the glass. They meld in the mouth with peach, honeysuckle, almond and all joining the ensemble for a wonderfully rich, balanced, harmonious chorus of flavor. 14% alc. 110 cases.”
With grilled duck breast in a lavender-shallot sauce. Recommended.
