  Extremely light in body and color. Aromas of red and blue berries, violets and spices. Same fruits on the pallet along with black cherry, cedar and chocolate. Peppery finish. Bright acidity. Texture is a bit watery. Not bad but something is missing.

  Opaque purple w/ deep burgundy edge. Nose of creme de cassis, brambleberries and warm spice. On the palate: dark cherries dominate with a long finish of red berries and spice. Tannins are silky and barely perceptible on the gums. Overall, a very enjoyable wine that is tilted towards the extracted, new world style.
