Deep dark purple that is almost imppssible to see through. Berry flaovrs in nose with some damp earth. Huge fruit on palate-red and black raspberries, ripe plums, smooth but still dense. Big fruity wine that improved with time in glass. Good food wine.

I would say one of the best Consilience wines I have had in a while. Very big, bold and heavy (in a good way). Lots of tobacco, clean and will hopfully get better in a couple of years. Although, we like young wines, we will probably drink within the next year or two at the most.

A little cork seepage on opening, probably due to some high temperatures this bottle experienced at one point. That said, the bottle held up nicely.
Dark, almost opaque, purple. Dark fruits and oak dominate the nose, but picked up a fleeting hint of Shoney's strawberry pie filling at one point.
Still a pretty tannic beast. Held up nicely to the dark chocolate balsamic infused ribeye, but one the steak was gone, the tannins were mouth drying. This is a fruit forward wine with a lot of years left on it.

Massive fruit bomb. Many years ahead for this wine. Went very well with bbq rib dinner.
