Consistent with prior notes. A new world styled Mourvedre, extracted with melted tannins. Cooled this down too much and the oak was too prevalent, definitely needs to be at room temp. Very good, not great, nice deal for those who picked up on closeout.

One of the better dN purchases for me. Certainly on the bold end of the spectrum--blue and black fruits, spice and a hint of gaminess. Dark fruited attack, rounded and silky, finishes with integrated, ripe tannins. Delicious now, but enough structure and freshness to age for 3-5 years. Oak is nicely integrated, though very much a new world impression. Big wine that doesn't feel heavy or clumsy, with a delicious factor going for it.
Reminds me of a well made Monastrell or Garnacha, certainly a good value as the quality present easily could be 2x to 3x this cuvee's price point.

A dark beauty, this wine lived up to my expectations of quality, verve & appeal. It has complexity & power, but is balanced with compelling acidity & structure. Dark fruits & spices predominate.

crowd pleasing modern style, ripe fruit but not over extracted. Enjoyed on PnP and minimal deterioration day 2

Consistent with prior notes. A soft, dense and reasonably tasty wine, without being over the top. Feels like one to drink young.
