  A tight nose of cassis, black pepper, leather and cedar. Palate is salty and full of spicy black fruits from entry to finish. Soft entry leading to a powerful and full-bodied mid-palate. So much polished structure that hides the fine nuances. Finish is somewhat short but smooth. Still young, needs at least 2-3 years for it to open up. This does not have the elegance and purity of the Coonawarra Cab.
