The wine is of a ruby color. The legs are medium. It has a horsey smell, fur and wet dog. It tastes like strawberry and cranberry. The body is light/medium. The wine has a juicy texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has high acidity. Won't buy again.

Garnet-ruby; cherry cola, cranberries, violets, soil, game; cherry, strawberry, glycerin, silky, medium body, good balance, good heat, slightly astringent finish Intense, complex nose of ripe fruit, flowers and earthiness. Varietal character reflected the hot vintage. Excellent winemaking!

faint garnet with a light body in the glass. the nose is satisfyingly earthy amid notes of sour cherries and subtle floral whiffs. in mouth it is light but with a good tannic backbone and a tomato-like acidity and salinity; these serve as foil to the gentle fruit and spicy flavours that carry on to a relatively short finish.
i tend to think that a tad more bottle age would benefit it, so some upward potential here.
as served, it was a very good pairing (as recommended in the menu) to the Venison Carpaccio (with pickled shimeji mushrooms, cashew tahini puree, and radish). however, i doubt it would have been a match to the other suggested pairing (braised veal).
low alcohol (under 13%).

Working thru the Wine List at Air Canada's Signature Suite Lounge (Toronto, Canada (YYZ)): my first recent encounter with a Canadian Pinot Noir, so i was curious what i'd get. found the wine to be light and delicate and enjoyable.

Corked - slightly dusty cardboard which never went away.
