Follows the same structure as the regular labeled Macon-Verze. A touch more complexity still the reductive nose, a little bit of nuttiness, yellow fruits & great minerality. Left the glass on the counter for 24 hours and was still rocksolid the next day.

Light, airy, elegant but bit boring, would prefer bit more weight, similar to the 2019 in its dullness

Dig Wine Leflaive Tasting (Dig Wines, San Francisco.): Really quite similar to the base Macon-Verzé, but with a little added herbal note in the mid palate. Also very good.

2020 Leflaive from the Mācon to Puligny (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Medium yellow. Musky, low pitched aromas with a lot of oak. Slightly lighter weight and more airy than the Verzé with less ripe peach fruit that yields to a wood-dominated finish.
