  Better than expected at the price. Cranberry, blood orange, raspberry, a little pinot funk on the finish. Still integrating, but nice structure to go out 10+ years.

  Not much has changed since my earlier note. Again, closed and funky on the 1st day. On the 2nd, it opens up but with the barrel influence leading the way: cocoanut? hazelnut? Kind of like an awkward child, you want to love it despite its challenges. Needs time. Certainly not your simple Pinot Noir.
  
  (12/15/2022) Brilliant dark ruby red. When first opened, the nose was a bit funky, but after letting the wine sit for a day, the nose opened up to dynamic raspberry/pinot noir flavors. Great fruit, ample acidity and a lengthy finish, which bodes well for the future. Very young (of course). Be patient with this one.
