I rated it 99 points end last year but now it seems to have gone into a tunnel where the previous perfection was gone and now t was dominasse by the red fruit character. Complex yes but not at the same level as before.
Maybe a bottle variation
Tasted the same bottle again after 2 more months. Better now. 94 points. In the taste I found gunpowder and licorice as well.

Very dark. Nose of forest floor and berries. Black and red cherry fruit, touch of licorice and briary wood. Med tannins and med acidity. 13% Alc. Favieres is my favorite of the Audoin wines I’ve tried and this one is a good example. Still young and still integrating with positive potential over time, but jeez, this is a tasty glass right now.

Couldn’t help myself tasting this again with my Coravin! This is truly a perfect wine! Fresh yet complex. Perfect combination of fruit, florals, minerality and fresh herbs

Fairly dark garnet, nicely medium body, there’s some decent light spice and fruit compote on the nose; the palate shows quite lovely fruit, medium intensity, a mix of darker cherry with a bit of higher toned raspberry, and some little savory streaks woven in. Decent acidity, tannins are light and fine, but enough for nice overall balance. There’s a warmth to the fruit, showing hints of the solar vintage, but really it just makes the wine more delicious at this young age. I’m not sure how this will develop in the cellar, it’s pretty much at peak right now lol. Very tasty.
Next night: still tasty, but there’s a definite solar quality to the wine. Not Russian River ripe, but a noticeable roasted character in the background. I’m enjoying the remains of the bottle, but I don’t think this is a wine to put away for long term aging.
