  Big Merlot, Great fruit and bold tannins. violets, lots of red fruit, some cooking spices and a slight touch of minerality. Long finish.

  Concentrated fruit jam bomb. Its a bit aggressive on the palate - ripe, jammy fruit with choco vanilla mixed in (presumably from some aggressive oak cask influence).
  
  It did taste good with some heavy wood fired pizza, but was a bit strong when drank alone. I can see this being popular for people who enjoy their Napa wines very, very flavorful.
