Really tasty. Almond croissant, hazelnut, cake. Smooth, velvety sweetness followed by pleasant heat on the mid palate, long finish of nuts and stewed red fruits. Medium acidity that balances well. Big fan of this random pickup I got to make cocktails initially.

Delicious but def on the sweeter end of the spectrum. Reminiscent of wood aged dark maple syrup.

Antique Wood varnish after some air
Bright cloyingly sweet with some back end heat then caramel then tart raspberry jam
Needs more acid for balance

Forgot how good this can be. Not to be confused with real tawny, it has a charm and power of its own. Need to get more.

Though perhaps not as deeply complex as the best Tawny Ports, at $20 this is a great buy.
