  Very nice aromatic Gewurtz. ,expressing all the best tropical fruity and floral aromas and flavors one should expect from this varietal. We found it a bit sweeter than the label's "off-dry" description, but still a very pleasant experience.

  To the nose, more spice than white peach and pear, with very slight flower. On the palate, honey over other stone and tropical fruit. The spice (allspice, but mostly nutmeg, thyme & sage) is notable like other Alsace gewurtz. Lively with good acidity. Round mouthfeel (almost petrol-like) and medium length. Paired well with Thai (although one taster noted a slight aftertaste of overripe pineapple - from the Thai?). Good QPR.
