  Nice deep color, getting cedar, blue fruit on the nose, slightly “hot” on the nose. Good blue fruit on the palate, clean finish. This is a good wine but a bit “hot” at 15.6 alcohol. Will be interesting to see how this develops. This wine is right up my alley with the strong blue fruits!!

  Decanted for an hour, probably needed another hour. Aromas of spice, blueberries and blackberries. Grippy tannins with flavors of black cherries, graphite and dark chocolate. Reminds me of Howell Mountain fruit, but actually hails from the Oakville hillside.

  This dark red and purple wine needs to be decanted and then it's oh so good! Strong smells of primarily red and black fruit (raspberry and blackberry). It has notes of mocha and coffee mid-palate with a nice graphite/mineral component. There is some gamey meat in here. Tannins are strong and this will be better in 1 to 3 years from now; however it is drinking well right now with the decant. This is not a PnP. The tannins provide the structure and the hillside fruit puts on some weight.
  
  The style is similar to other B Cellars / Kirk Venge wines; however this has its own unique taste and sense of place.
  
  I have never heard of Raithe Vineyard which is on the eastern hillside of Oakville. It was a worthy find!
