  Medium red. Slightly dusky nose with underlying raspberry and pomegranate. In flavor it is very close to carignan, tho some sources indicate it is related to Tribidrag (a.k.a. Zinfandel or Primitivo), which I would dispute given a quite different flavor profile. Of no great consequence, it is nevertheless a pleasant offering as a house wine.
