I joined that Koshu bandwagon when we all got adventurous during the pandemic so it was interesting to revisit this delightful little wine. It’s dry and crisp and citrussy, some lees notes, but it’s maybe a bit nondescript. It’s expensive for what you’re getting, but it’s still an interesting addition to the cellar.
In a blind tasting I’ve no idea how I’d identify it - Aligoté I guess, maybe a cool year in the Mâcon?
