Tastes more like a fresh and fruity field blend than a true Dolcetto. Nice acidity and some layered red fruit flavors, hint of wood aging. Good but definitely overpriced.

We just love this Sonoma County dolcetto from Acorn. Bright, medium bodied, can be served slightly chilled or at temp. Perfect for lighter fare especially in warm weather.

If given to me blind, I would’ve guessed an italian riserva from the nose. The taste skews a little more California but only in a positive way with tart cherry, subtle chocolatey oak, dusty tannins, medium body, high acidity.

Absolutely delightful. Fresh and slightly tannic with a light fruitiness that complements the chocolate and spice.
