Took a bit to open up, but was otherwise an excellent rendition of a Bechthold Cinsault, as expected. Slightly more stuffing than the Turley version, also made by Tegan.

From vines planted in 1886 in Lodi! Raspberry, cranberry, lavender, baking spices on the nose. It reminds me of red licorice. Palate completely follows the nose. Very ripe red fruit notes of raspberry and cranberry. Simply just juicy and so easy drinking. Very comforting style. Such a fun wine.

light red fruit, a bit of watermelon-sequenced sweetness. A little blue fruit on the mid-palate. A tiny bit green on the finish, but propped up by really nicely integrated acid. One of my favorite Sandlands every year.

Light red in color, bordering on translucent. Opens with bright red fruit, strawberry, raspberry and cherries, transitioning to herbal and floral notes. Very expressive and elegant style. 12%ABV. A very light red wine.
