Waited too long on this....past its prime and not really drinkable. Even so, this wine was so good as a closeout I more than got my $$ worth out of this wine.

Yet another of this great steal bites the dust. Hooked up to nitrogen dispenser and followed over two days. No longer convinced this is past its peak, it drank very well from pop to toss. Dark inky-purple color, medium viscosity, blackberry, plum, cassis, leather and vanilla-flavored tobacco on the nose. Perfectly integrated fruit / tannins with a silky mouthfeel, though fruit is slightly dominant. Blackberry, over-ripe blueberry, vanilla, hint of pepper. Really a killer bottle. Can't have enough of this.

Pop and pour, continues to please. Will mark my remaining bottles for consumption within 2 years - with many tastes over a 2 year period I'm convinced this is slightly passed its peak.

Probably enjoyed this last bottle the best of any of this wine. Napa cabs are a challenge. Those that can live long can really reward- blinded some of us guessed Bordeaux here- complex, tannins just right, clearly predominately cab- and much better than some other big name napa 2001 that should have lasted longer.

Followed over two days. At first pour this seemed a little past its peak and was disappointing given the # of bottles remaining and how much I've loved this wine. With 90 mins this put some weight back-on and was as good as ever. Great balance and depth, my next bottle will determine whether I pull the far side of my drinking window in to 2016 or let it hang out longer.
