Tasted at Wine & Spirits Top 100 NYC. Crisp acidity, lots of minerality, apple, apricot, dense texture. Very long. Slight hint of residual sugar. Floral nose. Opulent and balanced. Liked this a lot. Clearly still open the rise with some bottle age.

Third bottle from three (as part of a mixed case of 12). Six motnhs make a world of difference. In March it was still very closed, and now it is ready for business right out of the gate. Marvellously fresh and succulent fruit (grapefruit, peach, cassis), flowers and spicy slate, lime zest and thyme, light (11.5% ABV) but intense palate, energetic and zesty, with palpable minerality and bracing acidity, excellent resonance and length. Will age well, but I adore it in its current state.

First bottle from three (as part of a mixed case of 12). Immediately after opening: hewn from the rock. The "bald rock face" which Paula Sidore refers to on the Purple Pages. So tight and energetic, very impressive but completely closed. On the second day the nose has opened up, with aromas of lime and green apple, smoky slate and herbs; the palate is zesty and vibrant, light on its feet (11.5% ABV) but intense, with lovely orchard fruit; the finish displays laser-like acidity, but resonance and length are very good. Great QPR.

Redan väldigt gott som det är eller till mat. En njutning till Toast Skagen. Kan bara bli än bättre i källaren över tid. Spännande

Day 1: completely tight and closed but there is so much upside potential here. This will be very very good in 5+ years.
