  • After the bubbles, came this Burg Blanc, which paired with the Hokkaido King Crab by warm Chef Keith Hooker.

    This Côte de Beaune Chard had a muted nose, had bright acids and freshness but lacked depth and finish.

    I heard from the lads, layers of complexity revealed themselves later in the evening, perhaps this was just popped a little early or needed more air time. Sure I will get another go with this in some years!

    Milawa hosted a Mascot wine dinner in St Regis KL, great evening celebrating 2 birthdays too - All the best Dr SKT and Missus Albert!
