The nose is quite toasty and shows a struck match note too. There's plenty of fruit, with green apple and red berries a plenty. It has some bitter citrus rind tartness and is loaded with chalk at the back-end. A Champagne of presence and latent power.

A very fine nose of bread, preserved lemon, aniseed and mint. The palate is full and intense, with the finest of beads. It has excellent chalky detail and real volume and presence. The long finish is cut by loads of citrus and geological matter.
