  • Dark ruby in color with a short red rim. Much darker than I expected.

On the nose cherries, light oak, red currants, earth, herbs and spices.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Very dry on the palate with raspberries, sour cherries, strawberries, spices, light oak, earth, vegetables, wet leaves, herbs and peppercorn.

Short finish with round tannins and tangy cranberries.

This is a nice Pinot Noir from Burgundy.

This 2 year old is still young, and would be better in 3 to 5 years.

Needs an hour to open up properly, and show the tannins. Already showing nice complexity on the palate.

A Good quality wine that I opened prematurely. Will age nicely in the next 10 years. Has a good potential to become a 91+ point wine in 10 years.

A good food wine that will pair nicely with Brie cheese.

Grapes are grown on clay and limestone soils, and are hand picked. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months and unfined. A small production of only 5,000 bottles.

    13% alcohol by volume.

    88 points.

    $29.
