Three hour decant. Deep dark intense magenta color. Blackberry, boysenberry, maple glazed old fashioned donut, terra cota, and subtle grilled nectarine. Very dry, crushed velvety palate. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
This is a touch simple, but there’s no obvious manipulation. It’s fruit forward, but serious (i.e., no extraction). This really only needs a one hour decant, which may slightly increase the score.
Two hour decant. Very deep dark electric magenta color. Stewed boysenberry, blueberry, raspberry, milk chocolate ice cream, and subtle coconut shavings. Smooth, dry palate, with fine, dusty acidity. Firm, full, lower intensity tannins on the medium long+ finish.
Young, but truly in it’s drinking window. Likely to improve a bit in the coming year. Very solid Napa CS and quite impressive for the price point.

Notes of dark cherry, raspberry, cinnamon and wood. Decanted 2 hours. Enjoyable and very drinkable despite being young, but not especially complex.
