  • Deep garnet in the glass. Blasts of ripe fruit on the nose - strawberry, dark cherry, raspberry, sultana. Same follows on the palate. Alcohol is warming and really punchy here with almost no acidity to back it up. The fruit breaks over itself, causing a stewed jam/compote vibe to dominate. Not a wine you should take lightly, that is if you’re a fan of this style.
