This wine fascinates me. I've never tried a petit courbu before. However, after tasting this it is on my radar for future purchases. Golden color, it sings with notes of apricot, ripe pear, and a touch of lemon curd. There is a touch of minerality here too. Awesome QPR.

I do not recall ever drinking this wine before and must say I am sorry I missed it in past years. Beautiful color, almost like a sauterne, and a delightful nose. It is dry,but clearly would like to be sweet like apricot and peach. A real treat.

This wine is made from the same grape cocktail as Jurançon, which is situated roughly 70 km further south. It has similar lively citrus and exotic fruit, such as pineapple, a touch of underlying honey as if a sweet wine is trying to emerge, fine minerals, juicy mouth-watering acidity and decent grip on the finish. I don't have enough experience to distinguish this from Jurançon and a very good one to boot.

Acidity and minerality. New grapes for me but a pleasant wine at a decent price.
