  Perfect cork after all these years! On the nose—love that burgundy funk, warm spices, dried cherries, Chinese dried sour prunes, blackberries, vanilla, menthol, earth.
  On the mouth—lemons, Granny Smith apples, plums, cherries, smooth, well balanced, soft tannins with a medium long finish. Paired with a ribeye cap steak and it was delicious. Even with soft tannins, the wine stood up to the steak. Although the year was above average, this wine was truly delicious as a stand alone or with pairing (it was also wonderful with roasted Cornish game hen and caramelized carrots and potatoes!). Day 3 the wine was still delicious! 91+

  樱桃、覆盆子酱、红茶、甘草，很多皮毛和泥土的气息，闻起来成熟得略有一点沉重。入口更加均衡一些，不过酸度的表现中规中矩，作为陈年的支柱并非可靠，但在结构的隐患之外，香气集中，收尾也很长，现在喝起来更多的还是积极的一面。

  Joseph Drouhin dinner. Expressice nose of forest floor, earth, spices, some savory elements. Not as good as the 2010/15 which are more polished and have more complexity, but still a solid showing of this underrated wine.

  Very nice traditional style Burgundy. Decanted for 2 hours. Muted floral nose. Bright pallet of cherry and lovely Beaune earthiness. Mild tannins, well balanced and medium long finish. Sadly this is the last bottle in my cellar.
