Vintage 2020: "The attack shows a balance of taste between fruit and earthy flavors, with sweet cherry, violet and fresh prûne, draped with underlying notes of meat and game, white pepper and a salty, mineral touch on the tongue. Nicely constructed yet supple and amiable, it has character and charm. Drink now until 2024. »
... a bit more fanciful description. For me this was rather straightforward two dimensional wine with supple mouthfeel, rounded with no sharp edges, medium-full body and nice length.
Some oak, used barrels:
• Certified organic vines and wines since the 2016 vintage. • Ageing: 10 months in barrels over 10 years old. • Reduced sulphiting: 64 mg/l (allowed in organic farming: 100 mg/l). • Production: 20,290 bottles / 105 magnums
Very unusual for southern Rhone, I believe this is 100% Syrah.

Wow. $30CAD, so about $21 USD and 87-90 points? This is a terrific wine and a fantastic cellar defender or, at least a bank account defender!
Decanted for about 30 minutes. Pale ruby Plum, chocolate, pepper. No secondary Silky tannins with medium viscosity on the palate. Dry, high acid, medium tannin, high alcohol, medium body, Rather short 20-30 second finish.
This wine is not going to get better nor worse in the next couple of years But, pop the cork and drink it. No reason to cellar it
I like Syrah better then Grenache. And, though I've bought many Guigal Cotes du Rhone, and like it for my family and guests, it's got more Grenache than I prefer. However, Guigal is $20, and this VOGE is $30. For a quaffing wine, for those not really knowing the intricacies the grapes, a cheaper Guigal allows me to buy a bunch of Bordeaux futures! Which these same guests shall never experience... at least from my cellar I'm going to buy a few cases for the summer. It's a really nice Cotes du Rhone!
Syrah 100% 14.% abv
PS- Drink the Rainbow!!

Fruits rouges et noirs croquants, prune fraiche, acidité +, un vin sur la fraicheur pas très complexe mais super agréable.
Délicieux vin de semaine !
