Burgundy at least 20 years old: I liked this better than Melvin who brought this bottle. Very elegant Pinot, again lacking a bit in concentration like the Belland but very good nevertheless.

Dinner with Singapore CT friends: My contribution. Very candied nose that reminded me of a Bojo at first. The palate lacked structure and was rather tired despite the savoury notes, so everyone guessed a weaker vintage Gevrey. Put on some weight with air but definitely wasn’t the most representative bottle.

CT dinner at Imperial Grand. Tasted blind. Drank in Grassl Cru. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of sous bois earth, dark red cherries, black cherries, sweet ripe roasted fruits slightly candied. Developed. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of black cherries, dark red cherries, roasted fruit and oak, savoury dark earth with some sous bois. Long finish. Good quality. Thought it was a weaker older vintage of Gevrey 1er rather than an 02. Would call this bottle a drink up.

尝,进入第二期,还是紧/瘦,没有太多东西,比19/09好了很多。

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting. Drinking beautifully right now, with black cherry, meat, and earth. This is classic great Gevrey 1er Cru.
