  • dark ruby. nose hits on the darker side of gamay and shows some purple tones and then some mossy herbaceous stuff. palate is medium bodied with relatively low acidity. a little creamy and smooth yet a bite of carbonic treatment is apparent. fruit hits the bass notes with darker berry flavors and a steady handed salinity. a bit of iron towards the back and some sour berry punch on the finish. kind of a gamay hybrid of the familiar flavors like coudert and the almost flat yet smooth and seductive mouthfeel like foillard. the savory nature speaks more to the rhone. different, but as always for this maker an excellent bottle.

  • Rätt platt och ointressant faktiskt. Hade högre förväntningar från den här avsändaren.

  • Dark purple red.
Youthful exuberance , especially after a couple of hours, bright acidity, sappy, lacy textured mineralite framed by complex floral, spice and bright red fruits.
Delicious and guggable glou glou wine. If only there was more to go round…

  • Red fruity juice with an beautiful earty and herbal back bone.

Well made wine, clean and pure Gamay flavours, great lenght and body.
Difficult to pin point things with this wine for some reason. The over all feeling is good, but I need more layers and elegance for a really high grade.

Not that far from Foillards Cote du py, but more meaty and inky. Almost like a Syrah (if serverd a bit cold)
