Love this especially the surprisingly bitter and chewy finish - no need to go higher grade from this domaine w/r/t its whites, IMO. Agree with the tropical fruit and banana comments.

Bastille Days - Tours de France; 7/14/2023-7/16/2023: very pale gold and with a light to medium body in the glass. the nose is generous with aromas of ripe stonefruit, yellow apple and mango, enriched by whiffs of buttery almond, honeysuckle, and brightened by citric and slate whiffs. in the mouth it is just as expressive, with a creamy texture, and somewhat elegant. moderately acidic, slight wood and spice notes provide accents as palpable saline and mineral veins runs thru the palate and into the finish.
i'd call this a food wine, and suspect that a bit of bottle age may tame the exuberance and allow the complexities to flesh out more clearly. i should like to revisit this wine in some two or three years.
13% AbV; 40% Marsanne, 30% Ugni Blanc, 25% Clairette, and 5% Bourboulenc; aged on its lees on a combination of stainless and 500L demi-muids.

Intense tropical fruit smell. Delicate mango-banana fruit, with a crip but not very acidic taste. Long aftertaste

Herbal weed truffle fart, funky
Another lower acidity than I expected but a slightly tart finish
