- Yellow brown color - Apricot, honey, and a hint of pineapple on the nose. Dried apricot and peaches on the palate. Medium weight, with a pretty short finish. This definitely still has some time left, but it probably won't improve. I've had better dessert wines at this price point. I wouldn't buy this again.

Apricot, peach and pineapple on the nose. Not overly sweet, full fruit on palate, good acidity and a hint of minerality on the finish. Well rounded with long finish.

Super rich apricot hits on the nose and melts into power pineapple scents with a hint of guava. All of the fruit suggested on the nose delivers on the palate. The acid is on the lighter side, but not too light, and the finish lingers nicely.

Wine Wednesday: Riesling Night (Willamette Wine Storage): This dessert wine has a rich nose full of apricots and some honey. The apricot flavors on the palate are powerful, clean, and accompanied by some lighter acidity. Tasty stuff.

My friend called it perfectly, "this tastes just like the syrup in canned peaches" and he was spot on with his description. Pretty uncomplicated but absolutely delicious. Nice 20-30 second long finish. Overall a very tasty desert wine, low acidity level lends to that it might not last past 5-7 years. Still, another winner from elk cove.
